55 + Retirement Community Near Raleigh.
The Village Of Aversboro in Garner is a 55+ retirement community of ranch style homes. There are only 147 lots and they are on the final phase already, having sold all the homes built to date. The community has a community clubhouse, sidewalks and is an area close to shops, medical facilities and amenities.
The homes are all custom built using upgraded features like hardwood floors, granite countertops, sunrooms, tankless water heaters etc. The HOA dues takes care of all lawn maintenance, yard work.
The Village at Aversboro is conveniently located close to shops, drug stores, is a short drive to Downtown Raleigh and Cary, Clayton and Smithfield. There are many wonderful parks and activities in the area, Lake Benson is minutes away as is lake Wheeler. The Raleigh Greenway system offers miles of walking. There are a number of semi private golf clubs nearby and golf in North Carolina at least in the Triangle region is a year round sport.
What does it take to live in the Village of Aversboro, well, one resident must be over the age of 55 and no one under the age of 18 may reside on the premises for longer than eight weeks. There are specific rules and regulations and I would advise anyone thinking of moving into an age restricted community to read the rules and covenants carefully. There can be provisions for live in health care workers and you will need to know that.
So if you are done with the cold and the snow, the lawn and the yard, tired of only seeing your grandkids twice a year, then you need to come and see the brick ranch homes in the Village at Aversboro, it could be just what you are looking for in a home in Raleigh/Garner.
