Everything has a Blog in it.....Ask Howard Stern.
When I lived in Philadelphia, every morning from 6-10 I listened to Howard Stern, there were times when I would be on the floor laughing, a lot of times cringing and a lot of times wondering how does he have the @#$%^ to say this on the air. I remember one morning he was busting on his producer Gary ( Baba Booey) because Gary had carried on an argument with someone off the air and Howard was upset because he could have used that as a bit in his show. The show would often start off one way and quickly get re-directed to something funnier!!
So what does that have to with Blogging, well today I was writing a blog about a Californian company that was opening a facility in Research Triangle Park and while I was researching ( no pun intended) about the park I came across a notice about a job fair that the park was having. At first I was going to include it in the post I was doing, but realised it could have it’s very own post.
That will be done later! Then I started thinking about what else was I missing by not keeping an open mind to everything. I already take pictures of everything, and I mean everything, I love my HTC phone for that,love it!
Pictures are a great way to stay connected with your blog if you don’t feel like writing or if you have hit a dry spell in the creative writing department, post a picture of something, people like pictures, and if they’re funny they’ll like them even more.
Since this enlightened moment, I have discovered a couple more blog post ideas that will work. I need to write them down though....it’s easy to forget.One is going to be on the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh who are soon to open a whole new section. I was reading their magazine at lunch, which prompted me to think about other Raleigh attractions of which there are many, that will be another.
Look around, or better yet drive around or walk around town, a neighborhood, a Walmart.Yard sales are going on tomorrow, that’s one! Going out to dinner tonight, that's one! Scary house decorations you see, that’s one! Fall Colors, not very original but easy to do, that’s one! High school football games, that’s one!
