Clayton Area Schools Adding Two New High Schools, Johnston County Schools are building two new high schools to cope with the influx of students from the growth of the area.
There is a new school being built in the Cleveland area at 1892 Polenta Road, Clayton and another in Corinth Holders at 6875 Applewhite Road in Wendell.
I have seen both of these schools and they look like they will have all the bells and whistles that go along with a brand new school.
There was some opposition by parents of students who live in Riverwood Subdivision to the School District moving students to the new Corinth Holders High School from Clayton High.
Both schools are scheduled to open in 2010.
