Edenton Subdivision in Clayton, NC is located next to River Dell Elementary, just up Buffalo Rd from the intersection with HWY 42 East. It is made up of single family homes on large three quarter acre or bigger lots. Most of the homes were built in the last ten years and there are one or two new construction homes being built.

Edenton is in the Johnston County School District and the Schools servicing Edenton at the moment are, River Dell Elementary, Archer Lodge Middle and Corinth Holder High School.
