Portofino Subdivision Clayton,  Mountains -To-Sea Trail Celebration and Arts Benefit.

This Sunday October 18Th there will be an opportunity to walk some of the Mountains to Sea Trail and raise money, get some art work in the process.

Friends of Mountains To Sea Trail

The event which runs from 2-5pm is being organized by,Friends of Mountains-To-sea Trail, Johnston County Arts Council, Town of Clayton, Portofino. The money raised will benefit the MST who bring together volunteers and communities to help build the footpath across North Carolina. 

So Join artists, musicians, and lovers of the outdoors at this celebration of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail in Johnston County. Bid on art work created on the MST during the silent auction, and explore the trail yourself on guided- and self-guided tours. Learn more about progress to extend the trail in Johnston County and talk to artists about what inspired their work. Music and refreshments add to the festivities.

 

Portofino, Clayton

 

Portofino is an equestrian center on a 300 acre development that has included the Mountains-To-Sea Trail in it's plans. The event will be held at the horse barn at 3986 NC Highway 42 in Clayton. The trail is about four miles and is easy walking and kid friendly.
