Basketball Shmasketball, How long Does This Go On For?
Yeah I know I'm in the thick of The ACC and College Basketball and passions run deep. Deep Blue apparently, and Light Blue, and how about NC State, maybe not or Wake Forest, OK never mind.. I just dont like basketball, I like football, I like baseball (sort of)! Heck I'll even watch golf, Ice Hockey is another one I don't care for, unless they are in the Stanley Cup. I became a fan of Beach volleyball after the olympics, but they're not playing yet!!
Yes the two big teams that dominate, Duke and UNC are still playing away and not a bit of consideration for a real estate agent doing an open house. So last weekend it was me and the birds out here at Portofino as March Madness took a hold of the entire population of the Triangle.Add in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Raleigh on Saturday, gorgeous warm weather and even Portofino couldn't get them out.
This weekend is not turning out much better, although yesterday I had very promising return visits from two people who had been out to Portofino a couple of weeks ago and were checking back on the progress of our new section Churchill, where the roads will be black topped tomorrow.
So hurry up March Madness today is the first day of Spring, be gone and let us real estate agents get some home buyers out and about., buying houses and getting the economy going again, thank you very much!
