Over at Portofino in Clayton the pool is open already and there have been kids in it!
Portofino’s pool is only for use by the residents of Portofino and their guests, so no fear of overcrowding. The beautiful pool and clubhouse at Portofino is gorgeous with a cabana with fans for picnics and loads of umbrellas and recliners.
The zero entry salt water pool is great for the little ones to paddle in with mom and dad close by. The rope separates the rest of the pool which goes to five feet and has a nice bench for laying in the water while watching the sun set behind the clubhouse.
Two changing rooms and showers and an outdoor shower are also part of the amenities.
The clubhouse and courtyard with the outside log fireplace is a great place to spend an evening as the lights in the pool go on and it is so quiet back there,being so far from the roads.
The electric gate that lets the residents in means you can stay as long as you like, and I have seen evidence of some late nights at the pool at Portofino.
