Wine Tasting in Raleigh,
So the wine tasting at Total Wine and More at North Hills in North Carolina is featuring some summer type wines as we approach Memorial Day. First up is Anakena Sauvignon Blanc Single Vineyard $11.99. This one comes from Casablanca in Chile, it's a big, powerful Sauvignon Blanc with tropical fruit flavors. Crisp finish with a nice mineral note. Great with seafood, oysters and salads.
Next is the Bougrier Rose d'Anjou$9.99. From the Loire in France, berry and fruit scents with a crisp strawberry taste. Rose is a great summer wine.
Into the red department with Ropiteau Pinot Noir Vin de Pays $8.99, from the south of France, great value for a Pinot Noir with cherry and berry fruit and earthy smooth finish.
To finish out the wine Tasting Running with Scissors Cabernet $9.99 from the Central Coast of California where the flavors of cassis,cedar are the scents and anise, blackberry and cherry are what you'll likely taste.
