The Great Stare Down With The Deer at Portofino Equestrian Community in Clayton NC
We were out on the trails at Portofino in Clayton the other evening and came upon this group of deer. They seemed pretty inquisitive and did not seem to be bothered by us. With the new homes being built they must be getting used to us by now. They still kept a good distance, and with 400 acres of non hunting land they would be wise to hang around. We have also seen wild turkeys, snakes, rabbits, turtles,crawfish,herons, ducks, geese and fish out here.
