Hi Lori, it was gorgeous and I don't have a fancy camera either.

Hey Steve, that intensity set off some intense thunderstorms that afternoon, nothing like watching a thunderstorm at the beach.

David - Ya gotta just love the color of that sunrise.  It's a more unusual shade of orange.  It reminds me of the Tang my kids once drank!  Ah yes, that's it. . .a "Tangy Sunrise" - the way to begin your day!

LOL. Love the "ish". It's close enough. I'm never awake early enough to see a sunrise... which is a shame since I live on the east coast :-/

David - I'm not usually up early enough to get the sunrise, but I manage catching some spectacular sunsets to make up for it.

Steve, there is something going on with my camera I don't know what it is but I like it. Lisa, I have started waking up much earlier, must be age related and I love to see the sun come up. Patricia, come on down! Lora, yeah I'll bet you do!
