xcellent photo of a great ship, thanks for the post!
Good shot. Thanks for sharing. Have a special day.
Dan- We went on a tour of The North Carolina the next evening and it is amazing, you can pretty much go anywhere in the ship.
Roy- You are welcome.
That's quite the scene David! My son served on a total of 3 aircraft carriers during his 20 years in the Navy. He often sent home hauntingly beautiful photos of his travels.
David,
Great shot, and you captured it at a great moment with the sun setting like that. :)
Steve
That's cool, David. My dad used to be in the Navy. The last place he was stationed was in Bremerton, Washington. We were able to go on one of the battleships as well as the USS Missouri when it was docked there. They're so neat. Especially when you're 6.
Hi David... what a neat picture. Were you out on the water when your took it?
The size of those ships is overwhelming! I've seen a couple in the past, and they tend to make me feel like an ant when I'm next to them! They're truly amazing.
Thanks for the cool shot David .....
Lori Cofer
Myrl, wow three carriers he must have seen a lot, thank him for his service please.
Steve, thanks it is amazing how fast the sun drops out of the sky, blink and you miss it.
Heather, our boys are eight and ten and they loved it. I appreciate your fathers service.
Steve, I was across the river waiting for our ghost walk to start and one minute the sun just appeared right there.
Lisa, this is a big one but is dwarfed by today's monsters.
Lori, You're welcome.
