In the case of Steve and Brenda Corker who together own Corker Enterprises that resume is long and filled with lots of different home styles, floor plans, price ranges and materials. In fact the following is Forty homes that Steve built in Glen Laurel Subdivision alone! Forty and the final number is closer to fifty.

David: You appear to have some experience  with what is going on in the "New Build" business---are there  no indications that custom homes are in more demand right now than they were before??? Thank you for commenting on my post about new builds and who is buying them--just wondering what you are finding in your market...are there more buyers or not? Is the buyer profile the same as it was during the boom? ...Paula

Paula I think todays consumer has all the information at their finger tips and with all the real estate related shows on TV, they are much better educated. I think there are folks who will only buy a custom built home, but the buyer who can't afford a custom built home is expecting much more as standard.

I have noticed that in the early part of the year everyone had a house to sell but recently I am seeing folks that have sold their house. We get a lot of relocation business coming into our area and they are ready to buy.
